The Stable Health Studio ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

Yoga became an essential part of Bek's life shortly after she discovered it fifteen years ago. However, her yoga practice took on a new meaning when she injured her spine in a car accident. What followed from a previously active life and dynamic yoga practice was years of medical procedures, alternative therapies, a great deal of soul searching and a very different take on yoga. Bek's gradually learned that yoga was not about being good at something but being good to yourself.

In 2014 aged 36, Bek's had a two-level disc replacement (C5/6 and 6/7) in her cervical spine. Thanks to a highly skilled surgeon, the operation was a success, but she still had a long way to go. Bek's had poor muscles memory, having suffered from chronic neck pain for so many years, very little upper body strength and low self-esteem.

Yoga helped her heal, accept her situation, become stronger and gradually rebuild her life. Yoga is a practice, teaching us that each day is different and the more we tune into the ebb and flow, the greater chance we have to support our wellbeing and work with it not against it.

With this in mind, Bek's invites you to join her on the mat to practise this ancient discipline together in a safe and supportive way. She will encourage you to unite your mind, body and breath, allowing you to soak up all the benefits that yoga has to offer.
